Chilliwack is in the process of revising its Official Community Plan (OCP). Future development, zoning, and bylaws will be related to this plan. It was on the basis of the current OCP that we were able to stop the Kirkness gravel conveyor on Vedder Mountain.
We encourage you to attend one of the first public meetings at the UFV campus, Atrium Room on Thursday, November 22 from 5:00-7:30 pm or Yarrow Community Hall on December 3rd at 7:00 pm
You may also make your views known by filling out this online survey. Go to the City of Chilliwack website, click on the Official Community Plan 2012 Update, then to get the survey, click on the START button on the right side of the screen. Fill out the form and submit.
The Mayor & Council need to know that we consider this an important process and that we intend to be involved.
